Alexander Turner I've listened to this album many times. It was not at all what I expected it to be after having seen Hysterical Injury. This is so much darker, very much glorious and well worth spending your £s on. Favorite track: Destroy.

billsladdy Sounding like a more dark and oppressive Vashti Bunyan record, every track is a highlight on this excellent debut.
(Also the lyric book is sick :p) Favorite track: Devil Deep.

globethistle Rewards many plays with wonder and haunting beauty, not liked an album this much in a long time Favorite track: Bellyside.

One of the things I miss most about listening via a streaming platform is sitting with the lyrics and the artwork that comes with a physical release. So you can listen til your heart's content but not lose out on the artwork which with this thing, you can hold in your hand.

I drew this book at our kitchen table in pencil to go with the lyrics of the songs as I've always wanted to make a comic/graphic novel type thing. It is 26 pages long, A5 and has been beautifully screen printed by Ross Lovelock at Bathtub Screenprint in Bristol.

If you love graphic novels/comics, this one is for you!

giro days pummelling 12 minutes monster grinder is a gem a perfect soundtrack to the time honoured tradition of going completely bonkers for one day a fortnight. that refrain of sex death sex death is tied to the title for me..the little death.sex ...and life ..measured in giros.or.lives ,measured in bi weekly trips to the hole in the wall at midnight .....a triumph of a record... probably as good as just say no..but I'm a sucker for a pair of drummers.GNOD ON christopherogley
